Quilt 101 with Casey Cunningham: $65 ($25 Material Fee Included)

Learn about the art of quilting, basic skills and techniques while assembling a 16″ square “Potato Chip” block in seasonal fabrics. Once assembled, the block can be quilted and made into a pillow cover or combined with other blocks to make a quilt.

Participants should be High School aged or older and bring with them a sewing machine in good working order, basic sewing supplies (pins, needles, thread (white recommended), scissors, etc.), a quarter inch piecing foot, a free motion quilting foot and a walking foot.

The kit will include pre-cut “Potato Chips” (fabrics may vary), fabric for backing and pillow back, and batting. Instructions for the block and completing a pillow.
