Hawk Tail and Dyed Fan Whisk Brooms with Brooms & Blessings: $75 (includes $25 material fee)
In this workshop, participants will use simple tools to create a Hawk Tail Whisk Broom & a traditional dyed fan whisk broom while learning about the history of broom making. Participants will use traditional broom making techniques, including the “V-Up” strategy, to develop an appreciation for the decorative styles of this Appalachian craft.
Dexterity and strength are required.
