Build a Candy Dispenser with Ken Dunn

This class is a fun and approachable introduction to basic woodworking. You’ll build your own wooden candy dispenser while learning essential skills that can be applied to many future projects. Along the way, we’ll cover measuring and layout, safe tool use, proper assembly techniques, and tips for creating clean, accurate cuts.

Participants will get hands-on experience with the miter saw, drill press, and sanding and finishing tools. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a finished project, greater confidence in the woodshop, and a solid foundation in fundamental woodworking techniques. No prior experience is necessary—beginners are welcome!
