Mother’s Day Tea Garden with Spore and Seed

Join Courtney of Spore and Seed for an afternoon of learning and leisure. The first portion of the class will be about growing a tea garden at your home. We’ll discuss plant selection, care, post-harvest and storing plant material for tea.

The latter portion of class we will make a floral/herbal tea to enjoy along with sweets from local bakery Dough Run. Participants can sip and relax enjoying the grounds of Manor Mill. You will go home with a worksheet full of information and live plants.

Add some theater (and Jane Austen) to your afternoon: Join us over at Oldfield’s School (an 8-minute drive from Manor Mill) after the tea party for The Complete Works of Jane Austen, Abridged. This is a fast-paced, comedic play where three actors quickly embody all of Jane Austen’s novels and characters, satirizing her world of romance, manners, and social commentary, often with a twist, offering big-hearted fun for both Austen fans and newcomers. Simply add the ticket to your cart and we will put you on the list for Sunday’s show at 2pm.
