
Paint water in watercolor! This introductory watercolor class is designed for beginners and will focus on painting reflections in water. We will experiment with color mixing and paint a small summer pool, inspired by the Water World fine art exhibit taking place in the main gallery spaces.
Ages 16+.
Supply List:
Participants should bring their own water color paint pan, and a couple brushes (see below)… and thats it!
If bringing tubes of paint, be sure to have primary colors: Yellow/ Cadmium yellow, Blue/ Cobalt Blue, Red/ Alizarin Crimson. If you already have a palette of colors that you are comfortable painting with, please bring those as well.
Brushes – 1 round and 1 flat watercolor brush. #6 or #8 Round and ¼” or ½” Flat. The instructor will have a few for you to “test drive” or purchase, and Manor Mill will also have smaller sized brushes to lend as needed.
