Award-winning duo VERONNEAU reimagine the classic songs of Joni Mitchell’s “Blue” and Carole King’s “Tapestry”. Two iconic albums by two iconic women which put women center-stage as both composers and performers and introduced the era of the singer-songwriter. In songs and stories Blue Tapestry features classic songs like Case of You, Blue, You’ve Got A Friend, So Far Away, California and You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman and explores the stories behind the songs in the context of the post-Woodstock era. VERONNEAU’s “Blue Tapestry” 2025 album release, played extensively on folk and jazz radio and rose high in the charts.
Quebecoise vocalist Lynn Veronneau and UK guitarist Ken Avis tour in Europe, the US and Canada, presenting the music of their albums which have featured in the US Top 10 charts for world, jazz and folk music. The duo have performed at venues such as Strathmore, Blues Alley, Kennedy Center, DC Jazz Festival, and the Florida Folk Festival Their original songs have featured in films and have been song contest winners.
