Picture it: a day to focus on writing in a beautiful restored grist mill nestled between tall autumn trees and a lovely small stream. You can choose sessions that educate—learn about publishing options, explore submittable markets, get tips on editing—or simply opt for a quiet day of intentional writing led by skilled prompt guides.

The Mill is located at 2029 Monkton Road, Monkton MD 21111. DELIGHT IN WRITING runs from 9 until 3 pm. Morning coffee, snacks and lunch are provided.

Spaces are limited so we recommend that you register early. To hold your place, please fill out the form below.

(Please note, while we have endeavored to make the Mill accessible to all, it is an historic building with no elevator. Outdoor gravel paths lead to each level of the Mill but may require a strong assistant to help push. Accessible bathrooms are on each level. For other accessibility questions, we strongly recommend that you contact the Mill before registering.)
