Event Type

This event is designed to bring our community together to share and exchange spiritual tools and enjoy delicious food in a warm, supportive environment.

What’s a Spiritual Swap?

If you have any oracle cards, crystals, sage/smudge, essential oils, incense, meditation cushions, sound bowls, tinctures/tonics, candles, books, art, or other spiritual items that you no longer resonate with, bring them with you! Allow these gifts to find a new home, and discover something new to explore on your spiritual journey.

What’s a Soup Swap?

  • Everyone makes soup, brings enough to share (aim for at least 8 cups), sample others’ recipes, and take samples of a few (or several) of your favorites home with you.

What Does Vegan Mean?

  • Sometimes it refers to a style of eating that mostly or primarily includes vegetables, fruits, legumes, grains, nuts, and seeds.
  • Other times it’s used interchangeably with plant-based, a dietary lifestyle that excludes all animal-products (meat, poultry, fish, dairy, and honey).
  • **Please note that this event excludes all animal-products.

Can I still come even if I don’t regularly eat vegan or plant-based?

  • Absolutely! Use this gathering as an opportunity to create and taste new and delicious recipes.
  • Some excellent animal-product alternatives include beans (kidney, pinto, black, chickpea), vegan meats (brands like Gardein, Impossible, Beyond Burger, etc.), tofu, tempeh, plant-based milks (coconut, soy, almond), or veggie broth or stock.

What Should I Bring?

  • Your soup (of course)
  • Ideally a crockpot or heating implement so your soup stays warm
  • Serving spoon
  • Several small containers (so you can take samples of others’ soup home)
  • A list of your recipes’ ingredients (being sure to specify common allergens like wheat, soy, peanuts/sesame/other nuts)

Let’s come together, enrich our minds and spirits, and enjoy a beautiful evening of sharing and community!
